Last week we had our little neighbor girls over and each kiddo made their very own pizza.
I had a variety of toppings for everyone to choose from and they could pick and choose and try what the wanted. They had so much fun rolling out the dough, spreading the pizza sauce and arranging their toppings. I wish I would have gotten a photo of each of their finished pizzas, but as you can imagine having five kiddos running around making pizza left little time for the camera. Plus I missed getting a picture of the 5th kiddo at all!
Well, I guess not everyone was running around. Some were just eating the cheese topping….. you know, for quality control purposes.
The kids had so much fun making their own pizzas. Most of them chose to have pizza sauce, pepperoni, cheese and sausage. We had the mini pepperonis and I think more of them disappeared during the making of the pizzas then what ended up on the actual pizzas. They enjoyed eating the ingredients during as much as after.
After the kiddos made their pizzas I made two more for the adults and they turned out so yummy! We chose a few more toppings than the kids did and had all they had plus green peppers (from our garden!), mushrooms, and onions. Yum! Yum! Yum!!
Thank you to Classico for a fun pizza party!
We used the Classico Traditional Pizza Sauce (Better Homes and Gardens 2013 Best New Product Award winner), but they also have the Classico Fire Roasted Pizza Sauce and coming in Spring 2014 they will be adding the Classico Creamy White Pizza Sauce! Yum!
I know you are hungry now so go out and get your favorite jar of Classico pizza sauce today and make a yummy pizza of your own!
