Tickets purchased at Kroger benefit East Lake Foundation
(Atlanta, Ga. Sept. 9, 2011) – The TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, held on September 21-25 at historic East Lake Golf Club, is the finale to the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. Courtesy of Southern Company, up to four children aged 18 and younger are admitted free with each paying adult to witness this exciting final event to the golf season (http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/r060/tickets.html). Families can feel good about an outing on the golf course by purchasing tickets through local Kroger stores; 100 percent of proceeds from each ticket purchased at Kroger benefits the East Lake Foundation.
“The East Lake Foundation has accomplished so much in the past 15 years, but there is still so much work to be done,” said Madelyn Adams, East Lake Foundation Executive Director. “The money raised through The TOUR Championship ticket purchases from Kroger are used to help fund The First Tee® of East Lake youth golf and life skills program; college scholarship; literacy support; economic development programs; the East Lake Community Learning Garden; East Lake Health Initiative; and much, much more.”
