Turkey Cupcakes

Yes, I did say turkey cupcakes, but they are not what you think.  They are absolutely yummy and almost too cute to eat.

My sister-in-law has this amazing talent for making cupcakes.  It’s actually ridiculous how much talent she has.  Not to mention the amount of patience that she has to mold, cut and shape everything just perfectly.  I’m actually very jealous because I would love to have the talent and patience to make cupcakes that look like this:

She made the turkey cupcakes for each child this year.  They were a butter pecan cupcake with frosting covered in molded carmel.  The turkey legs were some Pringle Stixs dipped in frosting and the stuffing was grape nuts.  Yes, this entire masterpiece was edible.

And the kids loved them.

Last year she made a turkey TV tray dinner.  How cute are these?!

The turkey legs were cupcakes covered with graham cracker crumbs; the peas and carrots were Starbursts and Sweetarts; the mashed potatoes were frosting with a slightly melted Starburst for butter and melted carmel for gravy.

Talent.  Pure talent.  And a heck of a lot of patience.
