Healthy Kids Review & Giveaway

tt twitter micro3 Healthy Kids Review & Giveaway .

Do you have picky eaters? Are you tired of telling your kids to eat their fruits and vegetables? Are healthy meals few and far between?

Dinner is always tough around our suburban home.  In Atlanta it’s a long commute to anywhere (seriously!) and so by the time we pick up the boys from school and get home there isn’t much time to prepare for dinner.  When I cook on the weekends, I try to double or triple recipes so we have something easy and healthy to pop in the oven or on the stove for mealtime.  I try to give the boys a balanced meal of fruits/vegetables, grains and protein, but it’s not always easy.  A lot of times I just flat out forget about an important food group.

I never force the boys to eat everything, but the rule is that they must at least try it all.  We make a big deal out of it if either (or both) boy(s) make a happy plate.  Side note:  A happy plate means they ate everything on their plate.

And if a plate has an image on it?  Well, even more incentive for them to finish what is on it.  Ryan will get very excited while he is eating and exclaim “I can almost see the strawberry!”

So a few weeks ago I received an email from Amy at Super Healthy Kids asking if I wanted to host a giveaway for a Healthy Habits Plate.  Of course I accepted!  Who wouldn’t?!  A great kids plate at a great price point (only $4.99)!

250plate Healthy Kids Review & Giveaway

The package arrived at our house and the boys were jumping up and down with excitement over their new plates.  They insisted on eating off of them that night and pretty much every night ever since.

They love the images in each section of the plate.  And I love that it reminds me of what I should be placing on their plates for each meal.  In addition, these plates are dishwasher safe, BPA free and lead free.

I know that you will love your plate as much as we do. So enter today for a chance to win one for yourself.

Entering is easy!
