Fabulous Fourth of July Finds

Since it’s the holiday weekend, it’s only appropriate to feature some great fourth of July recipes, projects and finds.  And since I have none of my own to share with you, what better way to showcase the talents of other blogs than on my Feature Friday!

The first site is one that I’ve been following for awhile now. A Few of My Favorite Things shares a lot of great party ideas, craft projects and recipes.  I simply love this site!  Every time I see how they have featured a party idea it makes me want to run out and host one myself.  For the holiday weekend they featured Some Sweet Treats For the Fourth.  I know I’ll be making these over the weekend with my boys.

The other site another one of my favs.  I’m not sure how I came upon this site originally, but have thoroughly enjoyed it.  And as I’ve told her in the past I also enjoy the music on her site.  Typically having music start up every time I visit a blog is something that really bugs me, but for some reason LOVE the music on A Beautiful Mess.  When I don’t have access to my own itunes I will head on over to this blog and just listen to the music in the background while I’m working.  I love the mix of music and find myself singing along to most of what is playing.

The other day Alicia featured a DIY 4th of July Chalk project.  Simply awesome.  I mean really, how cool are these?!  I love them.  And what’s even better?  I know my boys will love them even more than me!

Happy 4th everyone!  Enjoy your weekend.  What are your plans for the long holiday weekend?
